Advanced Fighting Fantasy is an extreamely simple and easy to understand system developed from the Fighting Fantasy Gamebooks published by Puffin in the UK.
The AFF system was designed primarily for adventuring on the world of Titan, a fantastic world, some of the history of which can be found here.

Top Secret/S.I. is, by contrast, a particularly robust, realistic and versatile system, which sacrifices only slight simplicity for these great gains. It is well supported on the World Wide Web, and rightly thought to be one of the best RPGs ever designed.
